LONDON, UK / ACCESS Newswire / July 23, 2025 / While the government talks about hitting net-zero targets, Moin Aslam is actually doing something about it. His energy company The Most High Renewables has quietly installed heat pumps in hundreds of homes across the UK, and he's seeing more families than ever asking about solar panels and efficient boilers.

"Everyone knows they should be doing something about their energy bills and carbon footprint," says Aslam. "The problem is most people don't know where to start, or they've heard horror stories about cowboy installers."
That's where his team comes in. Rather than overwhelming customers with technical jargon or pushy sales tactics, they focus on what actually makes sense for each home.
Heat Pumps That Actually Work
Air source heat pumps have gotten a bad reputation in some circles, often because of poor installations or unrealistic expectations. Aslam's approach is different - his team takes time to assess whether a property is suitable before recommending anything.
"We've turned down jobs where we knew the customer wouldn't be happy with the results," he admits. "It's better to be honest upfront than deal with problems later."
For homes that are ready for heat pumps, the results speak for themselves. Customers regularly report cutting their heating bills in half, while staying warmer in winter than they were with their old gas boiler.
More Than Just Heat Pumps
Not every home is ready for a heat pump yet, and Aslam's team doesn't pretend otherwise. They also install modern A-rated boilers that can slash energy bills compared to older models, and solar panel systems that let families generate their own electricity.
"Some of our best results come from combining technologies," Aslam explains. "A customer might get solar panels and a new boiler this year, then add a heat pump when they're ready to renovate."
One recent customer in Manchester saw their energy bills drop by 60% after installing solar panels and switching from a 20-year-old boiler to a heat pump. Another family in Birmingham cut their heating costs from £200 to £80 per month.
Doing It Right
What sets Aslam's business apart is keeping everything in-house. While many energy companies subcontract installations to whoever's cheapest, his team handles every job directly.
"When something goes wrong - and things do go wrong sometimes - the customer calls us, not some random contractor who might not even be in business anymore," he says.
That approach has paid off. Most of their new customers now come through referrals, and Aslam says they've had to expand their team twice this year to keep up with demand.
Government Money Is There for the Taking
The UK government is offering up to £7,500 through the Boiler Upgrade Scheme to help families switch to heat pumps. There's also support available for solar installations and other efficiency improvements.
"The paperwork can be a nightmare, but we handle all of that," Aslam notes. "Most of our customers are amazed how much support is actually available once you know how to navigate the system."
With the government targeting 600,000 heat pump installations annually by 2028, there's clearly political will behind the transition. But Aslam thinks the real driver will be families seeing their neighbors' energy bills drop.
Getting Busier
The company is currently booking consultations into August, with installation slots filling up for autumn projects. Aslam says they're being selective about which jobs they take on to maintain quality.
"We'd rather do fewer jobs well than rush through installations that won't last," he explains. "Our reputation depends on every customer being happy five years from now, not just on installation day."
For homeowners curious about their options, the company offers free assessments with no obligation to proceed.
